Visit Ostravar Arena

A modern multifunctional hall holding major cultural events, sports and social events, corporate events and concerts. The home of HC VÍTKOVICE RIDERA and one of the venues of the 2004 and 2015 Ice Hockey World Championships.

Visitors can enter OSTRAVAR ARENA at least 1 hour before the event starts. We hereby request that visitors make a sufficient time cushion for getting to the event.

Ticket sales (from Závodní Street) – tel.: +420 596 707 134, opening hours on business days and on event days 1:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. The pre-sales ticket office is not open during the summer holidays.

All entrances to the OSTRAVAR ARENA are barrier-free. There is a wheelchair accessible sanitary facility in the vestibule. Places for disabled persons are located on a ramp in front of stand B8, or individually according to the type of event and hall configuration. The maximum number of places is 17 + places for accompanying persons.

There are 959 parking spaces + 51 spaces for disabled persons available in the car parks at the OSTRAVAR ARENA. Visitors can also park their cars in the car park by the City Stadium, as well as inside the City Stadium premises in the case of some events, on the premises of VÍTKOVICE, a.s., by the Vítkovice railway station, etc.

It is prohibited to bring any personal food or drinks into the OSTRAVAR ARÉNA. There are a number of buffets available to spectators offering refreshments during the events. The number of open buffets may vary for individual events depending on the current layout of the arena and the expected attendance of the event.

For safety reasons, all drinks are sold either in the form of a draft into cups or in PET bottles without lids.

We offer the opportunity to hire skyboxes and a VIP restaurant for VIP clients, corporate meetings, and meetings with business partners during events held. The capacity of these areas is approximately 150 persons.

There are 18 skyboxes with a capacity for 6, 9, 12, 15, 18 and 24 persons in the OSTRAVAR ARENA. There are 249 seats in the skyboxes. The arena also offers 2 VIP cabins, each for 6 persons, and a VIP restaurant with a capacity of 150 persons. VIP guests enter the skyboxes and cabins from car park “F”, passing the reception desk and taking one of the lifts to the 5th floor.

  • cameras, video cameras or other devices for purposes of professional recording of sounds or images
